What we publish
CDL Pathway is an independent information site for people deciding whether, where, and how to get a commercial driver's license. We focus on the choices that can cost a new driver the most: state eligibility, medical certification, required training, school quality, financing, carrier contracts, and realistic first-job options.
We are not a school, motor carrier, lender, law firm, medical provider, or government agency. No school or carrier can pay for a favorable ranking, and sponsored or affiliate relationships must be disclosed where they appear.
Our source hierarchy

How pages are checked and updated
- Material licensing and training claims should link to the agency or record that controls them.
- State pages display a source-check date so readers can judge freshness and re-check the linked agency page.
- Advertised prices and carrier terms are labeled as changeable and should be confirmed in writing before a reader pays or travels.
- Corrections take priority over cosmetic freshness. We do not change dates merely to make old content look new.
- Pages with legal, medical, drug-testing, immigration, or disqualification implications are informational and direct readers to official sources.
Automation and AI-assisted work
Software, including AI-assisted tools, may help organize research, build page scaffolding, check links, test site behavior, and find inconsistencies. Automation does not make a claim true. The standard remains the same: important facts need a traceable source, calculations need reproducible inputs, and unsupported certainty should be removed.
Corrections and independence
If a linked rule, price, or program term has changed, use the site's correction or lead form and identify the page and the official source that now differs. A correction can change a page; payment cannot change a conclusion.
