Privacy Policy

CDL Pathway privacy policy for lead forms, newsletter signups, analytics, and click tracking.

Privacy policy

We collect information you submit through lead forms and newsletter forms, including name, email, ZIP code, CDL status, interest, timeframe, optional phone number, source page, consent version, and timestamp.

We use this information to provide CDL resources, understand user demand by state, improve content, track conversions, and later route qualified inquiries to CDL training or job partners only when consent and partner disclosure are appropriate.

Tracking

The site tracks affiliate and job clicks by partner/provider, source page, keyword, location, timestamp, and anonymous session ID. We may also use analytics and webmaster tools to understand traffic and improve the site.

Lead and newsletter use

Lead forms are intended to help us understand what CDL resources users need by state and interest. Newsletter forms are intended to send CDL Pathway resources, checklist access, and related planning content. We avoid asking for sensitive medical, legal, financial, or government-identification details through general site forms.

If CDL Pathway later routes inquiries to training or job partners, that routing should be based on the consent language shown at submission, the user's stated interest, and a relevant state or ZIP-code context. We do not want users contacted about unrelated products.

Your choices

You can request deletion or correction of submitted data after a contact address is configured for the domain. Do not submit sensitive medical, legal, or financial details through general forms.

How we work

How this site makes money (and how it doesn't)

Most CDL sites are just sign-up forms for schools that pay them to send you. This one's different. No school pays us to be listed or to be called the best. We may earn from ads, from clearly labeled affiliate links, or by connecting you with a school or job partner when you ask us to, but never from a paid ranking. We start from the official rules, explain in plain words what they mean for your wallet, and point out the traps before you sign anything.

Our facts come from the government, not the school

Everything here comes from official sources: your state's licensing office, the federal trucking agency (FMCSA), the government list of approved schools, and federal job and pay data. Not whatever a school brags about itself.

Nobody pays us to call them the best

No school pays to be listed here, and none pays for a ranking. We show you the real price, whether grads actually got hired and what they made, the complaints on file, and the fine print in the contract. Then you decide.

We do the worst-case math, not the dream

Our calculators plan for a rough first year: you start the job late, you drive fewer miles at first, you're paying back the loan, the truck sits during slow weeks, and you might pay to retake a test. That's the math the recruiter's flyer skips.

We tell you the traps before you sign

We check the stuff that quietly costs people money: the DOT health exam, the required training (ELDT), the road tests, whether you can get a refund, what you'd owe if you quit, and whether the 'guaranteed job' is real.
